So because a FE agent is too lazy to learn different companies products, it's okay for him to sell a Modified Plan, with Senior Life, when the applicant would qualify for DAY 1 coverage with another carrier??? it's bone head decisions like this, that hurt the consumers, and give us bad names! How would you feel if an agent sold your mom a policy that had a 2 year waiting period, when she is healthy enough to qualify for immediate coverage with another carrier???
I'd be bummed. In this case I would hope that the Foresters agent came back and explained this.
However even if an agent knows several companies it still doesn't mean the system works perfectly all the time. If you read the boards lately, you'll see where agents who have all these companies are scratching their heads at times when one day a carrier will take a case and the next day they don't take almost if not an exact case.
But now you are rambling off about the nature of FE when that is not what this thread is about. Their is a LH thread about the issue you bring up and others. This thread is about the original poster and his recent case.
Who knows, maybe he'll branch out with other carriers.
