RNA Promotions

I wouldn't even know where to place a guess. Hundreds I'm sure. Probably thousands.

And there's something I will never understand with them. Nor could they explain it when I asked, how does cutting my pay on Esential Life solve any problem they might have the product?

It may be a pretty lame excuse, but that's what I was saying earlier. They cut the commissions on the Essential at the lower face amounts to encourage agents to write them on the FE product. I know, it doesn't make a lot of sense, especially when they are going to increase the FE prices because they don't want as much FE anymore. Screwy! :goofy:

I think the overall goal with them is to reduce the average age of their policyholders so they stay in business longer.

Decreasing commissions increases profitability on a line of business immediately. There is no filing with state departments and having to wait on their approval as there would be with a rate increase.

I'm on the 'Viva Cancun' mailing list too... and all I really do with them is the SIWL product. (and if their prices go up, I may end up writing more of MOO's Living Promise FE which goes to 85 and has very friendly underwriting... or perhaps I get appointed with Foresters? hmm)

Either way, looks like I'll be Viva-ing in Florida when their UL agents are Cancun-bound. :1mad:

That trip is not just for UL. They are giving extra credit for the UL, quadruple in fact. That tells you they are starving for that business.

They are not giving extra credit for the SIWL because they don't have to. Agents are writing that.

I haven't written a single UL and I'm only about $15000 away from qualifying for next year's trip.

Headed to Costa Rica with RNA in about 10 days.
