Royal Neighbors...

I heard from our RVP that remote signature for their eApp will be available this year. It seems to me that all carriers need to implement this option since it looks like Covid 19 is going to stick around and may clients/agents need a remote solution.

I think this is very welcomed news for fans of RNA's products - the more options the better!

Is the Graded product available in Florida?

Rate calculator not available for that product?

Are certain states exempt from Covid changes?

You know, the more that I think about this issue, the more I'm astonished by the pure stupidity of Royal Neighbors regarding this matter.

It often makes you wonder who's running that company, and why they're get paid so much, if they don't even have the wisdom and foresight to realize that they're going to lose a ton of money by not having a remote signature feature for their e-apps; not to mention the fact that during a pandemic it just plain looks bad from an agent/consumer perspective!...

Every company "under the sun" are running PSA's about "where in this together", "We're doing everything to ensure the safety of our customers and workers "blah, blah. blah", and yet, it's been going on 5 months and Royal Neighbors still hasn't done anything to remedy this situation.

I was told that RNA will have remote signature for their Term and WL by mid August. The FE business is booming since they have had a voice signature option which can be used via three way call - face to face not required.

Yeah, the tele-app with voice signature is cool and all, but sometimes you just rather write the business using a straight-up e-app, instead staying on the phone for 25-30 minutes.

On slightly different note, regarding RNA's "Jet" products, I think that their whole life plan is "fairly" competitive (price-wise), but unfortunately, I can't say the same thing for their jet term plan.

First of all, I think that it's price w-a-y t-o-o high for the market that they're going after (ages 0-60 / In good health), which by the way, is the same demographics that every life insurance company is targeting.

Secondly, it has a terrible convertibility option - first 10 years or age 60, whichever comes first.

And last but not least, with both plans (WL & Term), a person that wishes to have a recurring draft date that's different from the effective date, will be billed twice in the same month.
