Screening FMO's

Excuse my nievette, but I'm new. When considering which FMO to contract with, what should be my main questions/concerns? I realize commissions/renewals are a big one, but does it really come down to picking more training with less commission or higher commission and more freedom? What are the other considerations??? I need to get to work but trying to make a good choice is keeping me inactive. Lez'go already! Thanks for the input.

That was where I was at 4 months ago. Just make sure whatever direction you go, that you have a consistent lead source and just read every thread on the FE forum, study the apps and get out there.

The real question is do you have enough money saved up to buy leads consistently for a month.

Hoosier...that's another issue for me...little light in the wallet. I have to go old school for awhile and knock on doors and/or buy aged leads to call/knock.

What's the best source for aged FE leads or door knocking lists?

right now it's united insurance marketing (UIM). I just have RNA with them. They have a lead program but it's geared for med sups. I have to be contracted with 3 med sup carriers, 1 FE carrier and 1 other carrier (cancer for example) to be part of lead program. They have a group E&O policy that makes that expense really cheap. If anyone can advise me on that, is that a good thing or not??

If you're already with Hurst (UIM), why are you looking for another FMO?
