Screening FMO's

Todd, this one is for you. If you are thinking about getting back into the business what us the lead company that you would use. Or go with a company that helps markets the leads and cost. Like EFES.

Knowing what I know, I would be completely independent and order my own leads...weekly. Lead Connections is a good source for that. I have a deal with them for my agents, but any agent can order from them.

EFES is great for the agent that needs to have an IMO order leads for them. Many agents just won't treat their business like a business, so EFES is great at helping them stay on track by making them order leads each and every week. Some agents really need that. Others don't.

Well I started off a little light on cash and cold called for the first few weeks using a dialer and a script. I then made a few sales and used that money to purchase leads. All it took was $99/mo and some time.

Excuse my nievette, but I'm new. When considering which FMO to contract with, what should be my main questions/concerns? I realize commissions/renewals are a big one, but does it really come down to picking more training with less commission or higher commission and more freedom? What are the other considerations??? I need to get to work but trying to make a good choice is keeping me inactive. Lez'go already! Thanks for the input.

I think EFES is the best deal going for the fulltime FE agent. Especailly for the agent that needs taining and support to get going.

I don't really need that anymore but I'm with EFES for the leads. The returns are terrible here and it would cost me thousands more per year to do it myself. And I'm talking thousands more after taking increased compensation into the picture.

That may not be the case for you. If returns re good in your area it might very be in your interest to go it alone.

Bottom line is leads. Every agent has to have leads. Whether they are self generated or purchased, you gotta have them.
