Second Week with Fresh Leads

I guess I am. Never asked. But I doubt very seriously I am free to sell EFES leads on non-EFES paper.
Would rather do that than lose a sale. Food on my table is more important. Either way it is lost production for EFES. It's either a no sale for them or a no sale for them

My process is to give EFES first shot at any business I get from their leads. If there is nothing for the prospect at EFES then I will use a company outside of the EFES umbrella. Doesn't happen often for me as EFES has almost everything I would need. It's usually a decline that I go elsewhere.

I don't write any ROP plans so I just refer those out from the start.

You have access to two companies that do direct monthly billing thru EFES. AmAm and UHL. Both will also bill for the first premium.

It's hard to imagine people not having a bank account today. If they get any monies from SS they have to have an account now. It may be the Direct Express card but they have to have an account.

There is no company under the EFES umbrella that takes the Direct Express unless they have Liberty Bankers available now? They were working on that. I didn't pick them up because the rates are too high. Americo is planning on taking the Direct Express and it's supposed to be ready for that soon.

like I suggested, put Settlers in your kit. No checking account doesn't scare me.

You need a checking account with settlers.

They will not issue the policy until first payment is made.

You can waste your time writing an app, doing a POS, sending the app to home offfice.

As the laundy guys says no tickey, no shirtee....

They do direct bill. after they receive first payment.

They do not have to have a checking account. You can collect cash and then send a money order to Settlers. If you have an agency escrow checking account you can also send them a check on that account for your client's premium.

WOW, surprised in this day and age someone still lets you accept cash.

Actually most companies that still have monthly direct bill will let you collect cash and then submit a money order or cashier's check. % Star is the only one I have heard of that says a MDB has to have the initial premium paid with a client's check. In fact, even those companies that don't take MDB will allow you to submit a MO for Quarterly, SA and Annual billing.

UHL and American Amicable take direct bill but it was my understanding that we couldn't take cash, the applicant had to get the money order but I may have it wrong.

I don't find anything in the UHL (don't have AmAm) materials about it but even if that is a requirement how are they going to know who sent the MO in? Buy the MO and put the client's name on it as the sender. I do that anyway. I send a separate MO for each application where cash has bene paid becasue I want to be able to match up the MO to the app in my records. Also makes it easier for the HO to match it up.

Im just going by what I experienced.

The client moved to new area, and did not have checking account, Settlers took the app, but would not issue until they had the info to debit the account.

It worked for me.

besides the instructor at the insurance class always said "An APP And A Check" ...Thats one thing I always get or atleast a voided check....

Was that TN, KY or IN? BTW, I used your 4 questions today. I had hesitated using it as in my mind it fit your demeanor a lot better than mine. I was way wrong. It flowed out of my mouth way better than any other approach I have tried. Sounded polished and went quickly and smoothly. Just as you said, it hits all five reasons for not buying and shuts them down. Easy to remember and stay on track. Couple couldn't wait to sign up at a combined 110 bucks. No bank account.

I don't really see a problem with the "4 Questions" presentation when it comes to personality or style.

It was taught to me almost 10 years ago by a guy with as different a personality and style from me as is possible.

Now, you warm up and getting their walls down down stuff is going to be as different as each person is different.
