Re: Will you work with low income people?
Most people would prefer to buy insurance from a successful looking agent rather than an unsuccessful looking agent.
If you are gonna wait for the people to call/see you then selling auto insurance may work for you. Otherwise you will starve.
I agree.
I'll share one 55 yr old mans' viewpoint that was shared with me.
He had asked for info on health/life ins, determined to choose the right agent to work with. He told me he turned every agent who drove a nicer car than his away. (Yes I know, he's a freak) but, the point is....The Agent's drove to his house to try to sell him that drove a beemer or a Cadi Escalade etc were turned away. He was a freak. ...lol But, Customers are all different. And some people take advantage of new agents or agents in general!
You know, the weirdo's and insecure people who need to show they have control, (since they have control issues) are like this.
So, the point, let them come to you, that way they can't anaylize your car!... .lol....Dorky guy, I did not sell him~ not that day anyway, he's still thinking~(Broke) and I even drive a Saturn For me, as a woman, it's out of the question. I won't meet at a home, and most single/divorced men, or even a married man in a bad marriage who hears a woman's voice on the phone will flirt and just make an appointment to meet her....WAIST OF TIME~ remember that ladies. Selling them over the phone is the best way, unless they have to look at the info in person~ Set the appt at your office for sure.~
