Selling Med-Supps During AEP Multiple States

Site isn't bad. You need more traffic. And the others are right. Shorter video's, less than 3 minutes, trump longer ones.

Unless other agents are willing to pay your bills with their commissions, don't worry about how much they make.

Damn I wish my website developed leads. It's never brought in one sale :( maybe I should do PPC

Medicare Advantage Plans | Supplemental Health Insurance | Experts in Florida is it that bad?

I love the logo and the name especially. Aside from generating overall traffic via PPC or SEO, I'd move that call-to-action (Get quote box) above the fold on the home page with some happy colors like Orange, then have it somewhere on all the inner pages (sidebar, still at the top..etc).

So no, it's not that bad at all. Minor tweaks, tons of content, SEO or PPC and you're there.

Thanks, I'll try to see if I can move the call to action section around. I had someone set up the page a couple of years ago but never used it. All the content is mine and I even somehow figured out how to change my logo and the scrolling insurance company list but I'm not sure how to get anything above that scrolling banner up top. I'll have to look.

I just purchased that ppc adwords book that someone mentioned earlier...excited to see what i can learn there.

I really like that scrolling insurance company list. It's different than the others I've seen I like the way it shows one company at a time.

PPC for Med Supp terms, unless your pockets are very deep, will and should center around the long-tail terms for sure. PPC can be a lot like online gambling so you're off to a good start investing in education first. $20-35 per click currently on the big Med supp keywords for Google.

Hint: I'd be all over Bing/Yahoo PPC if I were to go back to it.

Dayum! Yeah that is a lot. Plus I just remembered my site is geared around central florida. But I'll be trying to market other states so I need to go in and change that as well before the ppc.

You can carve out Florida in your PPC campaign, that helps drive the cost down quit a bit. Long tail is key when starting, think in terms of counties, cities, plan names, company names etc. There are huge holes in every market when it comes to PPC and SEO. We dont focus so much on cost per click as we do total lead cost. If we can be around $15-$25 per lead, that's whats important. But yes, there are some that you just wont bid on because cost is to high, but there are hundreds of terms if not thousands to use. Knowing which ones to use comes with time and experience.

If you are going to pay to advertise, figure it out in your own back yard first, make a budget and don't blow it all the first day.

Using the gambling analogy, there is a reason why the casino's are nice and they offer free drinks. Google, Bing, Yahoo, FB and others will gladly take your money as well and they don't care if you turn a profit or not.
