Senior Life Services Insurance Company

I just wanted know how it was to work for them as an agent?
I know their commission is lower than some other FE companies but it is offset by the fact that there is no lead or chargeback cost. I just want to here from a field agent and what their take is on this company. Are they happy?
No chargebacks? You write a case that pays $100 commission monthly, they advance you $600; the case only pays 2 months which would earn only $200 of the advance and they aren't going to charge you back the $400 you did not earn? Ever? :skeptical:

BTW, if you are really asking about Sneior Life Services and not Senior Life which Todd and Greg represent, here is another thread on them.

Does Anyone Know if Senior Life Services is a Legitimate Company?

Kudos to you Todd for acknowledging that other companies outside of senior life fit the clients needs ...that is refreshing to hear from an sl guy

BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

"Senior Life Services" VERO BEACH, FLORIDA

Have an ATTORNEY read their CONTRACT & inform you how one sided it is.................

Don't become captive, (in multiple ways), with an agency that has ridiculous high turnover even with their self proclaimed MICRO-TRAINING & GREAT OFFICE SUPPORT

Does anyone have experience working for Senior Life Services Insurance Company? I was looking at them and wanted some feed back on how they are to work for compared to other FE companies.

Thanks,

Dan,

Did you ever get an answer to your question? I too was looking at them, but was curious what you found out.

Dan,

I am a recruiter, but certainly not for Senior Life Services out of FL.

Here's what happens with every agent that tells me they are or have been with them...

First of all, you assign your commissions to them. If you want to leave them, you have to pay back ALL of your advances from them. It doesn't matter that there are commissions that you've earned, they still want it all back and will put you on Vector in a heartbeat for it.

Here's the other catch as well...if you do "owe" them money, they want it all in one chunk. They won't set up a payment arrangement for you.

It really should be illegal for them to do what they do.

This is unbelievable. This is the 3rd company Im aware of doing this. They make it to where you cant afford to leave them. If you go to work for something like this, it needs to be your last stop in the insurance industry, because you wont be able to move.

Yes, I can hear Tennessee Ernie singing now:
"You write sixteen apps, & whadayou get?
Another day older & deeper in debt.
Saint Peter don't you call me cuz I can't go -
I owe my soul to my IMO!"

This company is very tricky BEWARE....I was told to quit my job and went for training, got my license, was supposed to go to their training in Three days, then got a call that I was not being considered anymore because I had not had "recent success" , in other words I was working part time. My manager was very nice and fought for me but this came from upper management....I've since found out that this happens very often.

Spoke with an agent in Georgia who just left them. She was charged back all her commissions, even earned.

Told me she wrote a letter of complaint to the Georgia department of insurance...don't know if that will light a fire for them to be investigated.
