SEO for Insurance Websites

KSIG you are on the bottom of the page 2 on all of your keyword phrases on google. Stibroker I see you in position 3 page 1 on Yahoo for "Term Life Insurance" Not bad not bad.

Not all of them it's been doing some dancing and it is climbing back up now. Was page 3 for the short tail a couple days ago.

Bout to climb it back to top of page 1.

Errr..... The owners of insurancequotes.com and the webmaster of wholesaleinsurance.net, echealthinsurance.com, and a few others are in this thread alone. Stop thinking so highly of yourself...
Not to bash those fine folks, but I know some of them. What some of them know is where to BUY internet marketing services. In fact, some of the names on your list tried to buy my services (I don't provide them). What you're suggesting is like asking the owner of a BMW how to change the rotors on their car. You should be asking the mechanic the technical questions.
In any event, here's a pack of losers trying to provide advice on a topic for which they've been entirely unsuccessful. I've declared that I do know what I'm talking about and I don't care to substantiate the claim. You only need to get two things from this. This thread is mostly garbage - don't waste your time reading the 30 pages. And the second is that you can find what you need if you go to pubcon (and it doesn't even matter if you see me speak).

Go read this thread, go read DP forums and warrior forums. It'll all sound real good. And it'll never get you anywhere near any decent terms.

Since you deemed this thread Dead for useful SEO advice, you might want to clarify, which members threads we should be looking at on DP and WF, since there are loads of conflicting info on those forums, not to mention the need to sift through all the WSO's at WF in order to find the golden nuggets.

I check WF every day. Every so often, a "golden nugget" will appear. Of course, if it's a high PR blog (follow), you know it will get spammed to death within a week or so.

The SEO and link sections of DP are interesting, but checking there once a week seems to be enough.

You've misunderstood what I posted. I indicated those sites were crap. I found out about warrior forums from a guy at a conference - who was attending because he was a big warrior forum guy and just had his income decimated due to loss of rankings.

As Chumps noted, you might find 1 nugget every six months.

The answers to SEO are not on Google. They're not on warrior forums. And they for sure are not on this waste of bytes of a thread. My single biggest SEO weapon? the phone.

In any event, about the last thing I'm about to do is continue this bantering. There's nothing here that will tell you how to rank, but I put out there enough for you to learn how to rank. Visit conferences - I told you one I'll be at, I'm at others. Use the phone. And don't read and follow the advice of people who use push button technology to rank 2nd page on 4 word search terms on Yahoo. Or try and sort and filter through the stuff on the internet.

But if you absolutely have to have a 'tip' I already posted on here:http://www.insurance-forums.net/forum/life-insurance-forum/free-compulife-t27703-13.html
How many people signed up for every single Compulife term4sale listing they could as the result of reading that? Did you? If you want to 'try' something, buy every zip listing there that you can. Then come back in a year and call me a liar because you didn't sell any cases from it. I'll reiterate - don't buy two or three. Buy every single one you can.

I should also point out that I don't do SEO for hire, not looking for business.

I am about to launch a new long term care insurance website next month. I need an SEO professional to hire. If anyone can refer a top-notch SEO pro, please get in touch with me. Thanks.

Good Luck finding an SEO who has experience ranking insurance websites.

P.S. one tip buy an old domain name not a new site.
