Tell them they had mailed a card back to your company requesting the free information on the soc. sec.death benefit, the high costs of funerals, and the state regulated plans.
I'm the guy that handles that in ______(their city). Would you prefer I stop by tomorrow morning or tomorrow afternoon? Tomorrow afternoon you say? What time is good for you tomorrow afternoon and I'll see what I have available. Early afternoon? OK, I can do 1-1:30 or 2-2:30, which one do you want?
"Which one do you want" is good to say now as I'm planting a subliminal question in their mind......this is the same question I'll be asking at the end of my presentation with them tomorrow afternoon.
(Don't worry too much about the fine points such as this paragraph. Concentrate on the 1st 2 paragraphs and you'll be fine. The fine points is what separates the real good closers and the real great closers).
