Hmmmm.........I only recruit in Va. and NC, not nationwide. I like for my agents to come get some one-on-one training. If you'll notice in my signature line I train both field sales and tele-sales. Neither way is really superior than the other, it all depends on what the agent prefers. I've had agents fail with field sales and also fail with tele-sales. I've also had agents flourish with field sales and flourish with tele-sales. About 1/2 of my 32 agents do face 2 face and about 1/2 do tele-sales.
I think that I've offered some helpful nuggets up here concerning selling FE. At least the phone calls I receive and occasional agent posts verify that.
But Gordon, just because you failed at tele-sales with Sr Life and also failed at field sales with Lincoln Heritage gives you as much credibility being a FE expert as Ms. Jones telling you "her bank messed her up".
I can't recall you EVER giving any helpful info on selling, working leads, etc. All you ever do is belly ache about one of the places you've failed at.
Whenever JD criticizes you like to jump on the band wagon, along with a couple of others. I've stood the test of time and will continue to stand the test of time.
Newby, with posts like this from JDEasy and Gordon, do you really think it would be beneficial to do that tele-sales webinar you were thinking about?
Yes, I think JD is being too extreme. You add good info to the forum. I'm not sure why JD wants to keep the Hatfield and McCoys thing going. I keep meaning to ask him. I think mainly he likes yanking your chain.
I wish this forum would get back to more good exchange of information. The bickering back and forth is good if it's funny. It's often not funny.
I think we should do a good interview and I can promise you it will have your phone ringing as the go to guy for getting into FE phone sales.
