Shenandoah Life Sales Suspended

I"m not sure. Anyone know which companies NAA rep now?

I wonder how much NAA paid Ric Flare to rep them?

I noticed Shenandoah's website has been down all morning. Hope that's not a bad omen.:skeptical:

NAA almost got me last summer -recruiting from Career Builder went to the local meeting here in Atlanta Andy whatever flew in Red Flags starting going off during the meeting I could see (Brainwashing tactics) also after the meeting a guy bum rushed me wanting to know who invited me I told him a guy in Arizona over the phone-he still tried to recruit so unethical and desperate. I have to send one up for not getting in bed with those guys.

Hopefully more new agents will join this forum and not make that mistake. If I had to guess about 60-75% but I'm sure you're right on target.

Officials mum on Shenandoah Life's status - Roanoke.com

Status quo for Shenandoah....nothing new.

Next to last paragraph was the most interesting....

"He also said Shenandoah Life was solvent, meaning it had enough money to pay expected policy claims. Replenishing its cash surplus account could require selling all or part of the company, officials have also said."........

Somebody needs to buy them....and end this.....

EDITS>>> Also...I had someone that applied for a hardship case to cash in a life policy. Their cash-surrender value was around $2,500. Her husband has cancer...had one of his lungs removed and 3 ribs...is on oxygen 24/7. I faxed in a pathology report. He's going through ongoing treatment for the next several months. They both worked...together, in the cleaning business. They can no longer work.

Shenandoah turned them down.

I got a call from someone yesterday by the name of Jason from marketing resources Inc. said he was calling about the contract I had with Shenandoah. Does any one know what is going on?

What will happen to our renewals if the company is sold off (liquidated) in blocks? I don't think they can afford to stop paying renewals, as the business will be gone QUICK once the agents starting the rolling!!

Jacob,
I see it exactly as you. Agents worked not only for first year, but the renewal commissions also. The business would probably make a fast exit, it commissions were stopped. It is the one adhesive holding together the company now.

I would bet some Jason, somewhere was trying to recruit you.

Yes that is exactly what it was. I am wondering how he got my info? I thought that would be private information. I know my appointments are on file with the DOI but how could he check everyone that had a contract with Shenandoah?

I've had several marketers call me or email me since Shenandoah went into receivership. Apparently they know...

Has anyone that has a Shenandoah client had a death claim on a life policy? If so, how long did it take for them to pay?
