Should My Info and a Picture Be on the Home Page or About Us?

That's what we were originally planning. I was really hoping to find someone who has A/B tested this and can let me know what they found. Guess we're just going to have to test it ourselves before we can be sure. I'll let you all know what I found, although that will be months from now.

I doubt anyone makes a decision on who they will buy their insurance from based on a picture/info being on one page vs another page.

You make a good point, it would be very hard to test for. The only way to do it would be a long term test, to ensure that other factors aren't having an affect. Probably a year or more. For now, we'll just have the picture and info on the "about me/us" page. If people want their picture on the front, we can do that too. We just want to make sure that our clients are super happy.

There is no way that I would not have my picture on the front page unless I was an large agency with numerous agents and then I would probably still have it if I were the principal. People aren't as interested in doing business with Foremost Insurance Group? Those type of names and branding are a dime a dozen and mean almost nothing. However, Jack Tate Insurance puts a name with the business. This is meaningful to those people who may know or happen to meet Jack Tate.

and should it be formal or casual, red tie or blue tie, with wife or wife and children, with the family dog or without.....as we said in the Army..machs nicht. Just do it, anything is better than nothing, so you will never know which is the best. Just do it!
