And so could the coaches.

I coached both my boys from T-ball to high school. Got suspended for one game for cussing out the other coach. My youngest son's last game of little league. He'll be 38 this year.

Been suspended for 26 years now. If I ever go back I'll have to sit out that one game.

Sit it out like you own it.

Ok, I guess I think it is f'd up that they were made to agree to those rules in order to play.

I think it is weak minded and I think it teaches both the boys, the girls, and @rousemark the wrong lessons.
Don't know how it would teach a wrong lesson. If you agree to the rules in advance, then you have no grounds for complaint afterwards. The parents should have been raising Cain beforehand and then maybe the league would have changed the rules. Changing the rules after the fact is the wrong lesson to be taught.

They were forced to play under these rules, not agree to them. Their alternative was not to play at all.

Bullshit.

I don't think it was right but the fact remains they did have an alternative. They were not forced to do anything.

They were forced to accept the new rules or NOT play.

So you are saying that they did have an alternative, and that alternative was to not play?

I'm with @Tahoe Ray on this one for sure - Bullshit.
