Yeah, effin' Frontier Airlines wouldn't let me through the gate because I got there 35 minutes before my flight. I've never heard of any airline having any sort of deadline that a person has to be there, other than before takeoff. I'll never fly Frontier again.
Stuck at the Riviera for a night. Leave in the AM.

Tins, u must not fly much! My moms retired from American Airlines, Ive been flying since I was 5, ALL they Airlines have a deadline. You know how I know, cause I had to fly standby 100s of times & they had to have a count of checked in passengers before they could give away seats to standby ppl.

Now I would say 35min is early, its usually more like 20-30min before takeoff...im guessing you werent actually at the gate AND up to the counter 35min before take off! Now, if the flight isnt full, you're fine as long as you are there while the gate door is still open...but if it is full, they can take your seat if you arent checked in by the deadline time.

FYI, theres a 1130 tourney at The Quad (formerly Imperial Palace) which is within short walking distance of The Riviera.

Haha, it was exactly that, a ride...got home earlier then I wouldve with my flt & thats assuming I caught the 1st flt since Im on standby.
