Starting a Position with Securus FE

OH, I forgot to mention... I have still been working my Securus leads and I have noticed that a few of the people I have been getting on contact with have been saying something about Walmart Gift cards being promised to them in a second letter being sent to them about insurance and about their options... they are telling me it is from the same company that they received the first letter from.. is it possible that Securus is trying to cut me out of my own leads?

Of course they are! They resell the leads (after 40 days), to the new and unsuspecting agent and mingle them in with new leads. I've heard this time and time again from agents emancipating themselves from Securus.

The way you were treated, even all the way to the top, is not surprising to me. Be glad you're done with them.

I hope things work out for you with EFES also, and you can shove it straight up Securus's arse!! I appreacite your posts here. As someone getting into this business myself, I will definitely stay away from Securus!!

Todd, I stuck up for Securus in the past, but i find it hard to stick up for them now. I guess they just got to big.

Too big and too greedy, unfortunately. They had a fairly good business model to follow. If they gave good and fair service to their agents they would do quite well. But they will churn and burn, their reputation will catch up with them.

Brother, now you understand why I had nothing to talk with Matt Goldberg about. I understood what they were about from the time that Dickstein got on here. I already knew how they operated and I was just letting him stick his foot in his own mouth.

Just like when I asked if they gave releases. He was so quick to say that they did. Meanwhile, he didn't know I had an agent that had been begging to get released from them. When he posted that, the agent told them how he had now posted it in a public forum and she wanted the release. They ended up terminating her just out of spite. I had a tough time getting her appointed again, but we managed...but she still had to wait 6 months before the company would appoint her again!

Messing with someone's livilyhood like that? That's just wrong no matter how you shake it!

I have agents call me on an almost daily basis trying to get away from them. EVERY agent has a story to tell about how they've been blatently lied to and most tell me they were sold aged leads as new ones.

Oh yeah....they still don't give releases either.

I'll say I'm not that big of an IMO, but I grow each and everyday. I will ALWAYS give releases.

I've built up to what I am with the agent in mind. I was an agent in the field and will never forget who is actually in the trenches out there.

I have had agents to ask for a release and then find out the grass wasn't really greener on the other side and wanted to come back to me. Do you really think they would have come back to me if I refused to give them a release?
