Success is not chance!

Seems more to be about what's the best fit for your business. There are successful agents buying shared, exclusive, doing telemarketing or only generating local business.

I'm not sure one method is actually better than the other - just the method that works best for you.

What matters more is that agents know all of their options so they can choose.

I personally am a fan of using many different ways to generate/receive leads and don't believe anyone should hang their hat on a single source.

Quite a few guys on this forum that would challenge that, and have numbers to prove otherwise, but whatever.

In reading some of your posts, it makes me wonder what your game is.

But then, I haven't seen anything of substance yet, so why should it matter?

After reviewing this thread I have to agree with Arnie. He has nothing profound to contribute. But I do think Rick is hitting on him.

Geez...how did you figure that out Bob. I didn't realize it until a received a "hot" PM from Rick! (Hee, Hee):embarrassed:

I've come to realize that when people are skeptical of motives, it's because they are people who have ulterior motives themselves.

Did you ever hear the expression "what you sow is what you reap?"

Success is easy, significance, now that's something.

Maybe you feel there's no one who sells like you, like you know it all, but maybe I do sell as well as you do, maybe better, I also train people to sell, maybe you're unable to do that. (as it seems)
If you'd like I can post my testimonials for my training success from Golden Rule, Assurant, Norvax, etc if you're still not sure of my credibility, would that help you find some humility?

;)

Weird statements are made like "there's no such thing as an exclusive lead." Funny....mine are. Much better ROI than shared but that's just me.

You want to fail in this biz or struggle with production? Go buy shared leads.

If anyone here is "successful" buying shared leads then define what success is - struggling to put 3 deals together in the same week by hunting people down? That's not success - that's pathetic.

Wait a minute.

Should we file this under "best defense is a good offense?"

We have all kinds of folks come on this forum hawking, promoting, and peddling everything from associations, to leads, telemarketing, lists and about every service you could imagine.

A healthy level of skepticism is a good thing, especially in this business, which unfortunately is filled with liars, thieves and crooks.

And they're the good ones...

Well put.

This is why the forum's growth is stunted...guilty until proven innocent.

Actually, Rob has committed the ultimate sin on this forum - came on with a postive attitude looking to offer some help.

That, of course, must be killed and replaced by insults and sarcasm.

Can anyone show me a post where Rob is hawking anything? No? Then maybe if a few of you would just shut up you might actually learn something.

I suppose you have a point, that's just not my mentality, I tend to trust people until they prove otherwise.

I think we should share knowledge to a point of course.

We all have our business' y
Yes I train and sell so if I can help out I will, if it gets extensive, I charge. Like all professionals, I get paid for what I do, I think that's a good thing.
