Success is not chance!

I do know, from my chamber of commerce, agents who have been in this biz for 15+ years. For them it's socializing, golf and working their book.

These are excellent ways to find new business.

If you're talking about P&C agents, you'll find whether it's x-dates, buying leads, whatever -- it's being done -- but they probably have staff producers doing it.

Why don't you ask 'em?

It's called trust. Get them a lower price, there is a catch. Why is it lower? Why are you selling price?

Dan

This so funny, say something stupid to show how smart you think you are.

If a client tells me three times they want a better price and they say they're paying $500 a month, should I offer them a plan for $499 and expect the sale ya knucklehead!??!?

Paul - They bust on me constantly. Lol.

None of them (8 in total) believe in any of this "lead" garbage or any type of cold calling.

Most of 'em are in their 50's - well established in the area and can't undertand my generation.

Their book of business is community based and they are active in the community and in charity.

To be honest, most of them view agents selling online as lazy.

I personally do well in the chamber as well as other local marketing.

Yes, I know older P&C agents very well.

Most of them had the luxury of building their book in the era of State Farm, Allstate, and nobody else.

A lot of them have trouble finding one new auto a week. It's a good thing they're gettin' old...cuz this new economy is gonna eat-em-up eventually.

Of course the HO is LARGELY to blame. They think everyone should be lickin' their chops to come in for a "Insurance & Financial Review".

Most people just want to buy auto insurance...
