If you do it properly, it's fish, cabbage, chopped salsa and red salsa in a soft (homemade) tortilla.

I prefer green tomatilla-based salsa on the tacos de pescado. Don't think I've ever tried red... I'll have to give that a shot. And yes, the cabbage is key. Along with avocado and squeeze of fresh lemon. Or lime.
 
I'd love to try those fish tacos. Cabbage in fish taco?? Hmm.

Mark, go to Long John Silvers and order fish & chips with a lot of the "crunchy things" and a side of slaw.

That is a fish taco, McDonough style.
 
cook some strips of bacon until there almost brown and then wrap one strip around one whole waterchestnut, I usually make about 10 - 20 of them, secure with a toothpick, put some soy sauce on top and bake for 7 or 8 minutes on 400....omg...sooooo good and easy

They are excellent with barbecue sauce on them also
