Supreme Court Ruling Expected Before Nov 2012 Election.

I personally believe the SUP will rule the individual mandate is unconstitutional thereby making the entire bill unravel.

I'm betting that the MUST HAVE INSURANCE mandate will be struck down, just like Obama wants it to be. Insurance companies will leave the health business, and then Nationalized Health Insurance will be implemented...which is Obama's goal anyway.

We have a winner. It was designed that way from the beginning. Unless the entire bill is deemed invalid if one part is unconstitutional.

For a guy from Chicago, you're remarkably intelligent.

GI with no mandate. Limited carriers. Controlled open enrollments with effective date delays. I called it.

The Supreme Court is going to answer as little as possible while keeping as much of the bill in tact as it can.

Rick, I'm from Michigan, but thanks anyway. Here's a question..

Assuming the Health Reform Law is 100% upheld by the Supreme Court, will an uninsured 30 year old making $40,000 a year choose to pay the $750 IRS penalty for not having insurance, or will he/she purchase a federally subsidized policy on the exchange? I wonder what will be the least expensive of the two choices? (This is a person who does not want to buy a policy, but will take the cheapest route)

$750 seems to be a very small penalty, but the government would probably prefer to receive $750, rather than shell out a subsidy to this person, don't cha think?
