The Current State Of ObamaCare - ACA

What part of "replace" don't u get? Try reading past the headline on msnbc next time. Plus, he won't b speaker for long.

Isn't this a political comment?

Yes I read it did you read this?

"The challenge is that Obamacare is the law of the land. It is there and it has driven all types of changes in our health care delivery system. You can't recreate an insurance market overnight."

Isn't this a political comment?

This is the Speaker of the House talking here... about Obamacare /ACA and this thread is about the current state of Obamacare / ACA. Nice try! One day you will get over it until then you will just be real bitter. This Law is here to stay no matter who gets elected to any office.

Well, well , well what have we here? Grab some tissues guys.

Boehner concedes ACA repeal 'isn't the answer' | MSNBC

For all of us on the forum their is two main benefits of reading this form.
1) to learn what we do not know
2) to get answers to questions so we can be of greater value to our clients

Hocoogster, you must realize by now that you are among agents who look at this healthcare law and firmly believe that it is not good for the fiscal health of our country, not good for our clients or us as agents in the long run. I believe we all want everyone to have health insurance, just not provided by the heavy hand of government.

Your continued attempt to " poke a live bear with cubs " as Ann stated has diminished your value to all of us on this forum.

It is quite apparent that you see value in the ACA law for yourself. I am not really sure you care about the value it gives your clients because as you have stated when "rates went up you got out of the group / IFP market" cause it was harder for you to sell and went into Medicare.

This forum is of no real value to you anymore unless you just like to be the proverbial " fly in the ointment".

You have now relegated yourself to simply "learning what you do not know" from this forum cause I doubt anytime soon you will be able to post a thread on this forum and have any agent help you get answers to something you do not know.

Obamacare will not be repealed, but it will eventually be gutted. How long before it happens and if it will be a workable overhaul is anyone's guess. I'm afraid most of the damage that has been done at this time is irreparable.

Had the law been written to provide a national risk pool and limited Medicaid expansion it could have been a good thing. But this monstrosity is an utter disaster.

I'll put you down as undecided.

If I don't sing out of your hymn book I'm a fly in the ointment..ok I get it.
It's called civil discourse.... until name calling and personal attacks ensue.
Just don't read anymore of my post if I'm of no value to you.
Todd are you certified to sell on the exchanges? If so then cool but if not members that don't write exchange biz don't need to poking around here causing trouble. You don't see me posting in the Annuity or Auto forum.

You never answered my question I posted earlier. You had asked me if I would like MA plans if they only paid 1%. Actually, they pay about 2% now but I'm opposed to government plans, period. I would get rid of Medicare, Social Security, long term unemployment, long term welfare...the list goes on and on.

Until such time as the government takes over all health "insurance" 100%, I'll still sell what I want and earn what I can. I don't have to approve of the programs to take my ethical stance.

So, how about it? If Obamacrap paid you 1% how much would sell? You've never posted how this helps your clients only how happy you are making money selling what is laughingly referred to as insurance.

You have the guts to post how wonderful it is. How about answering a simple question. Is it a good program if it paid you 1%?

Rick
