The Current State Of ObamaCare - ACA

Back to Somarcos comment...I consider the ACA to really be its own form of Medicare for all. Seriously guys whats the difference? Medicare is subsidized care for those 65 or disabled...and so is Obamacare..subsidized care for those under 65...there really is no difference. Medicare for all isnt coming...its here already.

Do you think the law would have passed with that slogan?

"You're paying more anyway, so why not let everyone get coverage?"

I think we have a winner.

Honestly though, the point of ACA in my opinion was not to lower everyone's health care premiums but to make sure that everyone in America had the chance to be as healthy as possible.

What happened to the average family saving $2500 a year? Don't worry, we won't hold anyone accountable to what they said before they read it.

Again, it was oversimplified economics which I hate.

It's more Medicare Advantage for all, but I see your point.

Who was it that actually came up with that figure? Was it Obama on the back of napkin or just who what group came up with that?

If you look at my book and took the avg family they are saving a little over double that amount....lol
