Exactly, we are in a great depression right now so those ideas would be very much still valid to this day.I have read a few chapters now and I think it's good.
In the book it talks about setting goals in form of money. How much money do you want to make? Then what are you willing to give to make that money? Now set a time frame for reaching that money mark. Sounds good to me!
I am going to take the recommendations. Even though its a book that was written right after the great depression it is still valid. Especially in the insurance industry.

2. Clear definite purpose.
a. How much money do you want?
b. What are you willing to give for it?
c. When will have it by?
d. Create a plan to obtain it
e. Write a statement summing all that up and
read it twice daily. Once upon waking and once
before going to bed.

I am up everyday @ 7 am and working 10 hour days.
That is what I'm willing to give. My goal is $30,000 per month.
