This idea works and you should try it

I guess that would depend on whether you have a "laundry list" of what you do (like I do) or sell mortgage protection only.

There's no way a prospect knows in advance everything I do. There are days when even I don't know everything I do!

The good thing is that you can use this idea and make it your own. You do not have to do it the way that I do it. Just pick out the parts of the idea that you like and use it. If you don't like a part of this idea, you can just change it with the way you want to do it.

I have never had anyone say to me that I tricked them after I am done at the fire station. If they do not buy anything, I still did something good for people that deserve it and usually I have a great time. They are always grateful that I came to help them and brought them a free meal and a good conversation.

I think many people miss the point here.

Give all that you can and you will never have to worry about your career.

Give out as much free stuff as possible, whether it's advice, a $250 rider, a free rx card, pizza, gas cards, the $4 walmart drug list, education, etc. This positions you to receive. And works without fail if you're genuine and sincere, so take note.

The more you give the more you get.

Put the wood in and the heat will come!

And this is a thought to consider:
  • A bad salesperson gives just enough service in both quantity and quality to justify the money it takes from the client.
  • A good salesperson strives to give the most quantity and quality to justify the money it takes.
  • The best salesperson strives to stand above the rest, providing higher quality of service than any amount of money can pay for!

Excellent advice from an obvious PRO!

U.S. accidental death rate climbing - More health news

This is a great story and video on accidental death rate climbing in America. Watch the video.

You can target clients that just bought a new motorcycle or own a motorcycle. We use to joke around and call people that just bought a motorcycle "organ donors".

My wife will not allow me to own a motorcycle. She said I would get killed on one. Knowing me, she is right. I've almost died a couple of times riding my 4 wheeler. What if I could tell some of these wives that if something happens to their loved ones while driving that motorcycle or any accident, that we could help them and make sure the family would still be protected in the event of his death.

I own one of these policies. It makes my wife feel better when I go off on the 4 wheeler. I plan on not dying and getting all of my money back. But if something does happen to me, this will help along with my other polices.

If I were a p & c agent that also sold life insurance, I would have this video playing at all times on a loop. The video would give you a reason to talk to them about accidental death coverage. I have a big lost post to help p and c agents, that if I see some of those agents wanting more info, I will post later.

Mark - please do post the P&C info. I'm new in biz and am learning more from your posts than any other source!

Thank you!
