Tips From Top Producers To Combat Coronavirus Objections

@SPUR CITY

How about f2f guys? Trying to transition yesterday?

We still have F2F agents hitting 10K a week conducting business as usual. Can't say that I agree with F2F sales right now given the current situation as I would be VERY upset if an agent tried to knock on my mother & fathers door to sell insurance. But I also see the agents perspective that they have a family to feed and bills to pay so there's no stopping them no matter what we say. It's a moral dilemma for F2F agents. Luckily for us we have options for our agents since we are partnered with the right individuals to tackle this situation via telesales. Adding more coverage to current clients over the phone has been really good to us lately. We have killer scripts to help us.

Its a big moral dilemma.

I disagree it is quite clear: Beat him silly then beat the silly out of him. I know that if my dad gets this he is going to die. He will not survive this. I've told my parents not to answer any knock at their door until this has passed.

It's definitely a huge decision for agents to make but they definitely need to be staying home for now. It's not hard for the guys who have been at this for years because they have renewals and pay through and some cash flow. For newer agents they have more of a struggle.

For agencies like us that have huge direct mail orders running it's an added problem. That mail doesn't stop coming in when you want it to. And unfortunately those direct mail leads are not the ideal telemarketing leads even for agents who are experienced with that. Let alone agents who are new to selling by phone. So we have given our agents the option to stop paying out of pocket for direct mail after this week until the virus ordeal is over. Gives them some breathing room on that bill.

Most are calling their current book. A few are trying out telesales. Many have enough renewals and savings to sit back and wait it out. But I would hope that most face to face agents are going to hold up for the time being.

I see you following him around and quoting him. You know he can't see your posts. Doesn't that make you the troll?

It is a strange psychological phenomenon that those you cut off on the internet refuse to let you go. @jdeasy calls it "living in their heads rent free."

It just shows that I am much more important to them than they are to me.

Kind of flattering, no?
