Transamerica Issues

How about placing, adding To existing coverage?

Just had a F,71,NT,on atenolol for irregular heartbeat she’s had since she was in her 30’s.

She has a Trans policy issued 12/17 age 70 preferred. Based on Rates,I never saw the existing coverage, the agent must have wrote on the supplemental the med was for HBP.

I wrote her standard and moved on .

Back on the day I would have alerted home office.

They cannot be a go to. They do not trust us,nor do they want to speak to us.

Can someone inform Transamerica that as agents we don't want surveys, we just want better service to agent. Spend time improving your service to your agents not taking surveys.

Simple mistakes on applications should not require a follow-up visit with the client for additional signatures and re-dating. Work on that.

To help us better understand your opposition to surveys, we’ve prepared a brief survey:

As JD has said "business prevention department"

I call it the "prevent us right out of business department".

or... "the department to prevent usage".

or... "why are your sending us business department".

or... the "don't bother us department".

I've got to stop :twitchy:... one more... "get your blood pressure up department". (That's for all you CHF's out there.)

I had a lady call and wanted her newly issued policy drafted in August instead of July. I called Transamerica on 7/1 and told them to stop payment. I got paid today so I called them again and they said they noted my request on 7/1 and no draft was made. I asked why I was paid? As soon as I hung up the lady called stating their draft caused her account to be overdrawn. She is pissed at me, but I did what she asked. Told her to call them and she did. Said she was told it could take 4 weeks to refund her. Might go by and give her the overdraft fee out of my pocket to calm her down.

Had a policy issued as applied today. Submitted on 6//6, but they asked multiple questions over the last 4 weeks. Now after all of this time they ask me to clarify the spelling of her name. Why didn't they ask this weeks ago?
PS. I looked at what I sent and all copies are legible, very clear and easy to read.

Maybe it's not that your writing isn't legible...it might just be that the person on the other end can't read English very well. :)
