Transamerica-Netspend

Trans won't take Netspend even with account/routing number.

And the fact that they do get their money early is a pain. I've had some success setting the draft date on the 1st for those that normally would get their payment on the 3rd.

Netspend payors are infinitely worse than Debit Express prospects. I completely understand folks that suggest you walk.

You could also try and call the client on the 26-27th for the first few months to remind them the money is coming out. If they're serious about having/keeping the insurance it could help.

Customers that have netspend accounts get their money deposited earlier, usually by two days.

Even if you use a company that does true ss billing, you're too late!
Exactly. Took me many NSF before one of my clients told me about it. Lol

Hey all,

Anyone know if Transamerica accepts Netspend in lieu of Direct Express? I've run into a few clients who have their SSI deposited onto Netspend cards and I'm not clear still whether they take it or not. Talked to someone in their service who "thought" they would. I'm not comfortable with "thought" knowing how often Trans likes to amend. Thanks all.

Trust me, I have put more Netspend Clients on the books than probably anyone on the planet, and MOST of them don't even draft the first payment. In 19 out of 20 cases, you are wasting your time.

It's sad because a lot of the people truly have an interest in the coverage but are the most irresponsible suspects not clients out there. I just can't bring myself to walk away from them just yet at least want to give them a chance.

My new rule for 2018. If I hear Metabank or Netspend from a client I pass. Learned the hard way.

Even if you found a company that would accept Netspend, I personally still wouldnt write it. Its the lowest quality business you can expect. I wouldnt even write it on an as earned deal. Its simply a waste of time.
