Yes it will cover emergencies, I can't imagine what she thinks may happen outside of an emergency (maybe she wants to know what they call a mammogram in France?) but I am getting the quotes because she asked me to.

To follow up, I did end up sending her a link through IMG that will cover her and her daughter for a couple of weeks for $100. Thanks for the help.
