Trouble Getting Cov/Aetna Supplies

It took 9 weeks, Aetna's "Ready to Sell" email arrived today. Was able to order MAPD & PDP. UHC and Anthem have been delivered. 10 packets came from Humana today. Each had 1 application, 1 star rating, one sales kit shell for various counties and states etc. no formulary or summary of benefits. Hoping everyone receives their supplies in time for Oct 1st. Oh wait......that's in a few hours.

Nothing you can do oct 1 anyways. These next two weeks are just for scheduling appts starting oct 15 for me

Guess it pays to be direct with company...Oh wait, what am I saying?

Yeah, not likely much of a difference at this point. For what it's worth, found out my upline is contracted and certified. Looks like the area rep is misinformed.

Found out today that mine is being held up by SMS also. Broker support told me that they (SMS) have not completed their NoMoreForms yet. However, was also told that even if I had my ready to sell, that there is no ordering until Oct. 4 due to the glitches with Aetna. This strangely feels like the Healthcare.gov launch last year, lies and all.

Stiill cant order with theses guys, no-help desk still letting us die on hold and no help from the local mgr as this company wears him out every year with issues. BUT UHC is looking more like the grand opening of heathcare.gov----------their new portal bombed today with tech issues and cant order / I blew on the poor girl when she "escalated" it and told me someone should be getting back to me within 3 days. Knew it would happen---in their infinite non-wisdom they didn't allow any orders in Sept off their new ordering portal and obviously the pent up demand malfunctioned the site opening order day. UHC was a debacle last year with their supplies nonsense and looks like more aggravation and delays this year. I'm just going to start moving business from these carriers who don't have their act together repeatedly----Humana will be the beneficiary as they only one it goes smooth with at least in my experience and the only one that cares enough about biz to get supplies to us on time.

Its all a hot mess. I was on hold with Aetna for 1.5 hours only to be disconnected when someone answered.
UHC order came in yesterday, not one thing that I ordered came in, I received books of plans NOT EVEN IN MY STATE. When I called them they advised to just throw them out. Such a waste of money !!!
Humana is good this year except for the hmo "hub" of doctors they are using now so the hmo is even tighter then a traditional hmo with other companies. Wish Med Supps were affordable for these folks, I would move them all !

What about people turning 65 in January? Do they have to wait until October 15th too?

Thomas are you licensed and fully certified?
The answer is no, your customers do not have to wait until October 15th. Your customers can sign up as soon as you get your supplies in, they are not "changing plans" which is what aep is for.

Yeah after I typed this I realized, what about T65's? Just have to wait to get your supplies in I guess. Luckily I'm not doing much coventry mapd

Depends when they T65 in January whether they can sign up before or after October 15.
Not sure I follow this. There is no circumstance I know of where someone turning 65 any day in January would have to wait until October 15 to enroll in any PDP or MA. Please clarify.
