Very new to FE, Three questions.

JW,s are not Christians, they don't believe Jesus was God, they believe he was an angel.

I think behavior speaks more for someone's faith than the details of creed. As James says, show me your faith with your creed and I'll show you mine with my actions. I like the Eastern Orthodox approach the most, which is to say that we can know where the church is, but we can't know where the church isn't.

How serious are these guys about the baptised part? Would they contesta claim over it?

Fraternals can't contest over being a Christian. You just tell the applicant that one of the companies that you represent is a Christian Fraternal. In order to apply with them you need to be a Christian. Would that be one to consider you Mr. and Mrs. Smith?

You are usually going to get a yes (in my part of the country anyway.) Or a no. If no you just sell other companies. It would only be an issue if it was the only company you offered.

You guys make things out to be much more complicated than it is. I've never had an agent that has any issue with it. It's just part of your initial questions that you ask when you are narrowing down your companies that you are going to consider for the applicant.

Thought the statement was "baptized" Christian.. There is a difference..

None of the 2500 goes towards leads, just a deposit to start ordering?

I have been involved in two of these so far. I gave EFES a deposit of $2375 which was then transferred to 360. I have paid for every lead order so far, so my deposit, presumably, is intact. However, if I decide to completely do my own drops and want my deposit back, I would first have to wait until the lead in-flow from the fixed price program came to a near halt. The deposit is to protect the IMO from a new agent getting cold feet after dropping three or four weeks of mail, or from an agent who fails out soon after starting and refuses, or is unable to pay for the three or four weeks of leads that will come in after he or she tells the IMO to stop the mail.

I'm pretty sure I jinxed the Catholics. That Australia cardinal (and good friend of the pope) just got sentenced. Hopefully he rots in prison!
Don't worry. I don't think you jinxed anybody. If he's guilty he brought it on himself. And according to Jesus there's a far worse punishment than prison waiting for him, or anyone who harms one of his "little ones". (see Matthew 18:6)

I'm pretty sure I jinxed the Catholics.

The Catholic hierarchy has jinxed themselves. The abuse has been so widespread and the abusers so protected you can't help but conclude that the Catholic Priesthood was nothing more that a huge pedophilia ring and the whole world has been duped. Truly incomprehensible. The suffering inflicted by "men of God."

I don't know how the Catholic world expect anything different from what is/has been happening. When you take away something that is very natural (having sex), it is bound to come out in different ways. In other words, you screw with nature and nature screws with you!
