Wasting Time with SSI Debit Card

Do you write much AmAm?

Very little. was just at their site to print off an app for one I'm writing tomorrow. I've been contracted with them for 3 years and I've written 92 apps in that time. Half of those were probably in the first year.

I pretty much only use them for direct bill and I only wrote 2 of those last year. I use them for the Easy Term. I do 4 or 5 of those a year.

One big drawback for them is that they will not allow replacements in Ky. About one third of my business is replacements, so they are not even a consideration in those cases.

After selling a client a Monumental ROP policy (dialysis), she proceeded to tell me about this nice white man that worked the hood in Chattanooga. You know, dropped in and took cash payments for insurance policies.

Apparently, he was pretty successful and everyone in the hood knew of him. Nobody messed with him. Until, she said, some group of strung-out, crack-head junkies jumped him for his wad of insurance cash and shot him dead.

...I really respect those debit agents...

I know one agent that picks up the money every month and the statement and pays it every month for the client with a money order. He does this for several clients and he seems to do pretty well.

I only see AmAm's "other" mode of payment so I am going to assume they allow direct billing?
