We All Use Them What Are Some of Yours?

I have a ton of one liners that I use to talk to clients about insurance or to get them to start thinking about insurance.

Can you share with us, some of the ones that you use?

Some of my examples are:

Do you want a get well card or a check?

Will your family be okay if you don't come back home tomorrow?

I have heard a ton of them that other agents use and I would like for others to share some that they use.

If you are trying to sell life insurance and the client just "has to think about it", then say to them as you're walking out the door, "IF you wake up tomorrow, give me a call!"

When you pay too much for insurance, the carriers don't send you a refund, thank you card or flowers. All they send is a premium notice with your rate increase.

. . . . .

Auto insurance doesn't have copays for tires, brakes & oil changes. Why do you need one for health insurance?

. . . . .

You can pay more but that does not you get more, it only means you paid too much.

You can say "I don't need it", but can you say "My family won't need it"?

The worst time for a wife to become the new breadwinner is when she first becomes a widow.

You would give your life for your children, why not insure it for them?

I would have never guessed you are 88 !

Not at all ! Lots of my clients have 12 cats and 4 dogs in their homes.

Sure, I'd love to compare scars.

I Am not here to sell you anything, only to offer if you need something.

And I can only offer something; Once I know what, if anything can help improve your current situation.

I am sorry for not being a good salesperson. My old manager use to tell me that if I had to rely on my sales skills to make a living; I would go hungry.

Oh, please forgive me;

may I offer you something to eat?

No maam that is quite alright, I just had a filet and lobster tail for lunch down at the club. May I come in?

Who sold you this crap?? Was he mad at you?

Was he your son in law that just got started in the insurance business?

Did you make that agent mad at you?

"I would not recommend any changes at this time. What you have now is your best option, considering all factors.

If it's all right, I'll check back in 10 months."

Exactly what I say when confronted with a PDP plan change only ;)

I also tell them to get a second opinion at their local pharmacy ;)
