Went to the SL meeting

He is, currently selling leads at like 40% off. Sounds desperate...

lol his "40% off" simply brings the price of the lead back from overpriced relative to the market to market price. FB Leads are consistently priced between $17 to $20 per lead, and Thad's are at $19.50. I do not use Thad's leads but I hardly think he is desperate while he is selling within 2.5% of the top of the market.

Sr Life has a pretty good FB lead. They are worded very directly about funeral expenses you will be leaving behind when you pass and they have a pic of a casket with someone's grand daughter looking on.
No way to confuse this ad with anything else. And they're only $15 for Sr Life agents. Takes about 2 days to generate you 25 FB leads. If you have any questions call me.

But $18 DM leads and a 90% contract is a fair deal, right? I haven't seen anyone else offer that.
If I was starting out I would definitely take that deal. Most agents are much lower comp with FULL cost on leads like you said. Even struggling agents could benefit. Logically and economically it makes sense - I'd say an agent doing this program should be doing 20-40 leads weekly for it to work for all parties with a 60-mile radius

they are recruiting heavy in tx now, craigslist ads say they bought out a company here and are domiciled in texas now

Yep, we're watching Sr Life on its way to becoming the biggest FE carrier in the country. This is just another step. Which markets did u see the ads in? I'd like to look at some.
Thanks in advance.

Even bigger than the company named for a president??!!

What company did y'all buy in Texas? Security National is expanding their regional presence here, too. They've recently acquired Kilpatrick Life, who has a strong market presence in Louisiana and East Texas.

Greg, here's the one from Dallas. Interesting that they're pushing Texas domiciled, as many agents as well as clients here prefer to work with Texas based companies. (Of course, if a prospect makes a point of that, I'll be pushing LBL whose executive office really is in Dallas, even though the company is domiciled in Oklahoma.)
