What Do You Drive?

I just recently bought a 2002 cavalier with absolutely no options in it to put the miles on for work. I was driving a 2011 Equinox that we got in March but it made me sick to see all the miles being put on a brand new car. 7.5K in 3 months.:swoon: I have seen no change in the amount of policies I write so my conclusion is that your ride makes no difference. :GEEK:

This is just my opinion, take it with a grain of salt if you want to. The U.S. auto makers didn't make that good of a car until Japan started selling Toyota's over here. After a while, you started hearing about their experiences with them...Gosh I've got 200,000 miles on my little Toyota truck and it still doesn't use oil and starts as soon as I touch the key. Gradually these Japanese cars and trucks took over the market. I think it put the U.S. auto makers on notice that they had better straighten up and fly right. Now I believe the American auto makers are making better cars than they ever have.

...its great on gas.....cheap insurance.......

My daily driver is a 2008 Toyota Sequoia. As almost all my IFP appointments are in the office, what I drive doesn't really matter. Now if I'm delivering a +40% premium increase to an employer client, I switch cars with my younger brother(2005 Honda Accord).
I also have a 1969 Camaro and a 1973 Jeep CJ5.

A 2001 Honda Civic with almost 200,000 miles. I'll only drive Hondas as they're the most economical cars, and I'm not rich.

2005 honda accord. You don't want to drive a POS, but you also don't want to be too flashy. No one wants to think you're getting rich off of them and I think a Honda shows that you're responsible with your money. I know if a 20 year old drove up in an expensive car and asked me to trust my money to them , I probably wouldn't.

JMHO. Do what you want, but be careful until you know what kind of money you're going to be making each month.

And if you're that worried about your car, park around the side of the building/house when you go visit people.

07 Ford Taurus and an 07 Honda Accord here, and oh yeah, and amublance LOL.
