Who Targets Active Military/Families-What Products

I would stay away from anyone below E-5.

Is this akin to a "GS-5" in the secular world?

I think so, but dunno. You can be hired right out of the gate as a GS-5, but in the Military you start out as an E-1 and it takes time to move up to E-5, so they are older/mature and more likely to be looking at the military as a career. I believe, if I remember correctly, that they are NCO's at that rank as opposed to Enlisted for the ranks below E-5. Point being, they are older, more stable and more likely to have a family and understand the need for Life Insurance...
