Uhc regional told me renew active in 2025 no more high end gyms like orange theory

An outfit called Xponential is a heavy participant in Renew Active, with Pure Barre, Yoga Six, Club Pilates, and StretchLab. Orangetheory isn't owned by them, so maybe the warning doesn't apply to Xponential. I sure hope that's the case.

But if they do exit the program, there goes my theory that YMCAs and recreation centers are dropping Medicare-provided memberships because they're being overwhelmed by pickleball players.

I just looked at the rates for the YMCA near Chicago that dropped Renew Active. An adult is $53/month, and a senior is $47/month. That doesn't seem all that high. Plus they're one of the very few places I go to that have towel service.

I just might be cheap, or still living in 1999.
