2015 HealthCare.gov Marketplace Status 2015

Thank-you colleauges Rugerred and Gordan for your feedback. At least you guys are seeing the streamlined HC.gov app SOMETIMES.

If it wasn't for the CMS YouTube training video, I wouldn't even know what the new Marketplace ver.2 application looks like.

Am I the only one seeing nothing but the "Old" version of HealthCare.gov this open-enrollment? So far, none of my new HC.gov applicants have been presented with the streamlined enrollment form.

Maybe HHS is mad at Illinois for electing a Republican governor.:skeptical:

I haven't seen the new app, but I don't think you do going through the carrier direct enroll.

I don't know if it is the new app or old app but I get two different ways to enter income depending on when I am creating the application-the first one wants current income by month, then extrapolates that to annual income; the second one just asks for 2015 income.

The difference I see is that under the first scenario there is no need for the applicant to send anything to the Marketplace about income; under the 2nd one they have to send in documents with the warning that they will lose their coverage if they don't send it in by February 28th.

Has anyone else noticed that?

I think you are right. Happened to me yesterday on one. You had to hit the "edit" button on the monthly income, and that method did NOT generate a income verification. The others did generate one.

Now, the question is, how do we get the system to get us the "edit" monthly income section.

BTW, old app is for existing customers and has the old 1 question per page.
The new app is for SOME new clients with 10 questions on each page. You'll know it when you see it. I have yet to see it, and doubt I will as I refuse to knock on the front door.

Myth busted..........I've edited many they all want verification...

Maybe they modeled it after the TSA, where SOME get to skip the security line at the terminal & others are still removing their shoes . . . .

I'm getting it about 30% of the time. Via front door and carrier portals.

But I am also trying front door before I give Ning any more money. :)

I tell you, these HHS/CMS officials in charge of ObamaCare Administration are DANGEROUS. If they were agents/brokers, their licenses would be revoked and they'd pay stiff fines and penalties for giving harmful advice to clients. Perhaps even go to jail..

Yesterday, the former head of HHS (Sebelius) said that the vast majority of Americans don't understand even the basics of how health insurance operates. Speaking in another city, the current head of HHS was bragging about all the new and exciting options available to consumers this Open Enrollment. (Consumers that don't understand the basics.)

Today, the current head of HHS says that 65% of subsidy recipients should be paying under $100 a month. To make that happen, HHS is encouraging the lower income crowd to lie, make their income even lower, and to actively find and enroll in the cheapest plan, year after year.
