2019 Telesales Revolution

Foresters pulled out of telesales (not due to persistency). They weren't even fully committed as it was only available in 28 states. Who else did?

I'm seeing companies leaning toward adding the ability to sell over the phone. RNA did this year for vetted organizations. Others are considering as well.

The #1 independent agent in the nation for MoO Living Promise in 2018 did $295k - it was 100% telesales and is sitting at a 96% persistency on all his business.

If you're working quality leads and sell correctly, your persistency in telesales will be equal or better than f2f.

If that is for real, that is ridiculously impressive.

I'm going to entertain this a little further. First, that you field several calls each week is purely anecdotal. It means nothing. Also, if agents were in fact migrating to the phone right now as you state, it does not mean they will find success there. The failure of agents working the phone is extremely high.

Second, you use a medicare T65 lead as an example to make your case. That is a total different than a FE lead. C'mon man!

Many agents are looking for the easier path, the phone sounds easier, but it's not. We support agents that sell over the phone and F2F. One is not easier than the other.

The failure of any agent is extremely high, F2F or OTP. The phone is not easier than F@F, correct...it is just different. Very few people have the tanacity to sit in front of a computer all day and remain disiplined. The same goes for field agents, very few have the ability to remain dilligent and disiplined in the field....otherwise you would have 1,000s of agents writing 5k per week in AP rather than the hundreds that do currently.

I don't want to make any assumptions but are you saying a T65 lead is harder or easier to generate/nurture/close than a Final Expense lead?

Book of business
Or
Bank book?

What is the average F2F FE guys 2 yr persistency. Counting rewrites.

Remember, they have internet, probably email and text. If it is who I think it is they mostly all came to him via internet. They very well may not be the cat pee "FE" market. So how is the typical F2F guy going to find them?

Facebook is growing very fast for FE marketing. You can get your lead price down to about $8.00 each and mention life insurance all over the advertisement. Set up your finnel correctly and they will book their own appointments on your internet calander. Live transfers are my suggestion...get a nice consistant steady flow of people that have agreed to a life insurance quote and is willing to speak to an agent now. For a few extra bucks per lead you can filter out any medical condition you have no desire to place.
