Yes but I heard Alvin from Trinity say something that stuck with me. A product needs to meet 3 criteria.

Good for the client.
Good for the agent.
Good for the insurance company.

CF may be best for the client. But it's not good for me. The same with selling SNL over Gerber.

That has always been my belief and in this order.

1. Good for the client.
2. Good for the company.
3. Good for the agent.

If it isn't profitable, I'm not going to do it. But you shouldn't put people in bad policies or give companies bad risks that they are trying to avoid. Finally, if it isn't profitable for the agent, the agent won't be doing it too much longer.

4. Good for the environment.

If all else is fairly equal, avoid 30-page applications.
