My first insurance gig was with Combined Insurance. That was back in 1979. 75% of the time we were door knocking and the other 25% we were running and renewing stubs, with hopes of adding on amendments. I worked there for a year and was considered a stud.

I can unoquivickly say in my 40 plus years of sales: Door knocking is the worst job I have ever had in my life. The only thing I can even imagine that might be worse is Telesales.

I sincerely think this Telesales ad for reps/agents with SAM, and others is very misleading. Cody talked about spending 14-15 hrs a day(at times) secluded with his entire team(office) HELPING him.. This was a team effort. A regular rep, like myself would not get that type of attention/leads/support... So, when he looks at the camera and says, "you can do it too!" - It's very misleading.

I listen and watch his(SAM/Secure Agent Mentor) program on You Tube and one could literally think you can make a full time income-a lucrative income in telesales. YOU Can not-over the long haul, as an agent, be successful... and as you burn out and walk out the door - SAM has your business.

That test was misleading to the average agent taking a serious look into telesales. Very misleading.
