+1 right there. The FE forum was really dying a slow death. Not only are more people posting again and not only is the content now of much higher value than it had been for quite sometime, but most EVERYONE is treating each other with respect. Disagreements can exist here without reducing everything to ad hominem arguments, i.e. childish bullying and insults.

My hope is that the moderator(s)/owner(s) have taken notice and will, in the future, better moderate inappropriate behavior. And make no mistake about it - being an internet bully is inappropriate behavior. And speaking plainly and "telling like you see it" is only a virtue if it stops at the line where you see everyone who disagrees with you as an ***.

And this behavior does have consequences. JD always treated me well, but I never liked how harshly and unfairly he treated many others. So when I was looking for an IMO, I had to consider FEX given their presence here and my familiarity with them as a result, I didn't really give them the same whole-hearted consideration I gave the other two IMO's I had been considering.

As another example, if you were looking to buy TM leads, who would you rather do business with, Glenn Shelton at Lead Heroes or the appropriately named Lead Jerk? I'd go with Mr. Shelton all day long. If vendors and IMO think they can come to this forum and act belligerently and boorishly without negative affects on their future revenue, they are mistaken.

I had all but stopped visiting the forum. I certainly was not visiting with the regularity I had when I first discovered it. But boy oh boy - what a breath of fresh air it has experienced this past week or so. I hope it stays this way.

I'd love to see JD return. I would just hope that it is a more polite and restrained JD.

Any chance you and Rirwin can give it a rest now? Maybe you can get the Mods to create a "safe space" forum for you two......

I like the strong opinions and passionate arguements. I think those are good for getting down to the useful information.

However.....

I believe many of the personal attacks were nothing more than an attempt to gain control of the forum for marketing purposes. I could be wrong though. You get rid of other IMO's for one thing and that is good for you.

The other thing is get rid of outsiders, like myself who are not new or FE agents. Then you have the people left that you can recruit.
