Agency Management System Search

What AMS are you using now? I really like AMS 360 but the cost is what I'm struggling with. As a start up agency (scratch) I'm trying to decide whether or not its worth going with an AMS 360 type system, or something smaller like Agency Matrix. If I go with something cheaper to start and then switch to something better ( which I will want to do eventually) I have heard the conversion cost and headache of doing so it huge. Thoughts anyone??

I'm not using any system right now. I'm in the same boat as you, as I'm a new agency.

And as others mention, I don't want to start with a lesser system and then switch to another.

I've been extremely busy getting started and out of town for a few days taking some vacay, so I still need to do a few more follow ups.

If the cost is too high, I'll just have to devise my own system for the time being.

I bit the bullet and went with AMS360 today. I feel that it is an investment in my agency and future. I could have definitely went with a cheaper system but I didn't want the hassle of converting later when I grew out of cheaper system.

What was the cost for 1-2 users..and what is the set up fee and monthly..I am looking at hawksoft.

I paid like $400 to start quomation and pay $150 a month, does all I need it to, and this is the rater and management system

That isn't too bad, I think I am at $124 per user for 10 seats with FSC and 24/7 servicing. It is not cheap but it is very efficient and I feel like I make money as my CSR's are a able to handle books of business that are larger than the industry average for agencies in my peer group. There is a reason why you never see $25m+ agencies running "off brand" management systems.
