Agents Who Doorknock

I have a couple of questions for those of you who doorknock lead cards and do not set appointments at all. What time do you start doorknocking? How many times in a day will you knock on the same door?

I would start at 10am

I limit myself to only door knock the same door 7 times per day

Knock it until they say no.

I wouldn't start knocking on residential doors before 10AM or so.. In the old days, I would start around 8AM talking with people in businesses and then move to residential around 10AM..

About 10 AM. If I have time I will check a not home one or two more times during the day depending distance

I find a local cop to ride with me. They answer the door the first time.

I start between 9 and 10, will drive by several times in a day. If it's rural, I try to do at least twice before a leave a notice.

I will start knocking on doors for people who are between the ages 50-65 around 9am. 66 and older, around 10am. Also, usually I will not knock on doors of 70+ past 5pm.
