Americo or Baltimore Life for Final Expense

I'm looking to transition to FE and Med Sups, have 5-6 sub agents, may want leads. it's getting older out there!

So, looking for a good IMO, or could a small fry go direct?

Well normally a small-fry can't go direct just because the bigger companies require volume to vouch for a contract. If you'd like another option I'll fill you in on what we have (including leads for you and your subagents) with multiple contracts.

If you want some more info email me: [email protected]

Doesn't Americo require E&O?
yes and it's always good to have it ;)

E&O for less does a pretty sweet deal for it if you're just starting out.

Baltimore takes people on disability. Oxford does not. Baltimore takes people who, on the Oxford questions, answer "yes"... I believe Oxford now uses the prescription subscription service for the telephone interview; to my knowledge, Baltimore does not. Baltimore has sent me free leads from customers who have called in. I have made thousands of dollars on these leads. I am not that big of a producer and I appreciate their help. Oxford has never sent me anything free although I like them because they are pretty much no fuss no muss with the phone interview and everything else. I have observed that the customer base that I have with Baltimore stays on the books longer than the ones I place with Oxford. I don't know why and I am not going to speculate as I prospected for them off the same lists.

Finally, one of the leads Baltimore GAVE me was several counties away. I never met the lady. I wrote her up on a 3 way conversation on the phone and Balt sent the policy right to her. Five minutes later I had made $900. I am not saying one company is better than the other. I am just saying each is good in it's own way. In my life experience details count.

Baltimore is a joy to work with.

Americo is good, Oxford is good, Monumental is good. I like them all but were it not for price I'd place everyone with Baltimore.

EXPENSIVE!

I don't know about that. They just sent me a written quote for $20,000 on a healthy male age 50 non smoker for $28.82 whole life with double benefit for accidental death.
The agent told me the quote is so low because they cut out the insurance agent and I deal direct with the underwriter (him).
He mailed me the quote in writing and the letter has his name and title is "Senior Underwriter"
He told me at least 3 times that he is not an insurance agent, he's an underwriter.
I looked up his license. He got his L & H license 30 days ago.
Anybody see any red flags?

Whoa.

Well while it's a great price.....i see red flags everywhere. Which I'm sure you do too. Sounds like his E&O is about to get some exercise IMHO.
