Another "Rip Off" lead company

Sure Dave. So am I . . .

I never argue with my wife. I just let her win.

Of course that eliminates make up sex.

First, Most of these agents dont have a website, and if they do, and I have seen many are horrible and you could do all the SEO you want or marketing, but if the consumer did find these websites, they would leave. Proper SEO takes deep pockets, and the results at first would be very minimal. I agree you need to be always working on you site and promoting it. You forgot two very important items that increase exposure, Social networks and blogs. The real exposure, Relevant Backlinks, Very Good Lead Companies know this and spend the millions for me, You just have not found the right lead company or like most don't understand the Internet Consumer and the buying cycles.

I am not against lead companies in general, but I have not found much success with them. Lead companies I feel would be much more beneficial if they just didn't send each lead to so many agents. I find the prospects start to very quickly get annoyed with the amount of phone calls they recieve.

Instead I just think it makes sense to do whatever you can to make yourself more visible, so when a prospect goes online to find an agent they find and call you. Turns the table completely and and puts you in a better position through out the sales process.

I do agree that most agents do not have a web page or the one that they do have is often not optimal. So a great place to start would be to get a web page or list on a membership site that provides a web page, and then learn to market it, or in the case of the membership page have it marketed for you.

I'm starting to feel like a rep for them but they take back everyone you can't get on the phone or who isn't interested. Please mention my name: Joel Gardberg

I've just purchased 10 leads 'trial basis' from First Quote last week. I'll keep you all posted on how they pan out. If I can at least get contact with a potentially interested client who's eligible, I'm happy with that lead.

My sales skills are arbitrary in the decision to purchase the leads, just so long as they are valid.

First Quote, anybody heard of em? Out of Florida?

We do a straight seat rental deliver the script we agree to and provide OUTSTANDING data for the agent to dial!

Sales Contacts, List Data, How and Where To Get The Best

That may be but there is no physical address listed on your website, no references (BBB, etc.) and not much more than generic boiler-plate copy about leads, etc. Nothing "sells" me on why I should send you $500.... what you will do, what I will get, how much I will make, etc. Also your links at the bottom of each page do not work, nor does your 'site map'

Basically, all I know about you is that you are a phone number, your forum is full of porn:

and to be perfectly honest you simply don't pass the 'smell test' from your posts in this venue. I wish you the best of luck but for a professional marketing company... well you haven't "made the sale."

I could be wrong, but like Oakland, there is no "there" there.
