Peopleperson.....I guess I missed the joke. That's why I put it out there about LH and the Mon Life lead program. Insight is welcome and jokes or sarcasm is best explained so I can be ware. Thanks

Not a bad company, not a great one. Very overpriced here in the state of Georgia, but they have certain plans available for certain hard to place cases.
I even placed a case for a mental patient on 8 medications. My agency is appointed with them and I went direct. Their leads are expensive ($28 for tv leads) but they are exclusive if you need leads.

I don't sell more than 6 of their policies a month, but have found they are ok, if the proposed insured cannot be there to sign and/or health issues are prominent.

I hope that helps.

Matt, I work with LH but I have a few other FE companies as well. I have a guy with Monumental that actually buys leads for his agents as long as they keep producing.

Question about the Lincoln deal. They're out of Phoenix, right?

Well, do you contract direct with Lincoln? Or through an agency?

The only people I have talked to are with Golden Memorial out of California. It's an 80% contract with 2 years to vest.

They told me that they are the ONLY authorized agency to sell Lincoln Heritage through (in AZ, NV, or CA at least).

I'm thinking that's hogwash.

What can you guys tell me?

The contracts depend on who you talk to and what level they bring you in at. I'm in CA and TX and talked to about three different offices. One in CA offered 70% comm, one in Dallas offered 85%, and one in Ft Worth offered 90%. You can go onto the LH website and send a contact request for contracting

Mattbell9, You have said several times that your background is limiting you. Bull **** get off your ass knock on some doors and ask whoever answers the door, do you want to buy any insurance? What makes you think that you have to buy leads?
Amen. Selling any form of life insurance is about your relationship with the client. And door-knocking is the fastest way to start that relationship.

After 5 years of being captive with another company, I'm contracting with them and will try out their leads. I've bought non-exclusive leads from internet companies with some success so I'm anxious to see how their leads pan out. From reading up on them, their underwriting seems very liberal. I'll keep everyone updated on how it goes.

I love their underwriting. Very quick and most policies are issued in 48 hours. I'm not a big fan of their paid leads, as $30/lead seems a little too high, and no lead is "exclusive", as most people shop around for quotes anyway. In the past month, I've written and issued people that I never would've dreamed about because of their health conditions when I was captive. Also, I'm taking a paid as earned route as to not accumulate chargebacks.

It seems that the agents racking up a high debit balance with this company are the ones financing alot of leads and taking large advances on commissions, which is why I'm taking the paid as earned route and prospecting my own leads.

Yesterday, I sold a $20,000 standard WL to a previous heart patient who had also beat cancer 3 years ago. Even though the rates are slightly higher for standard final expense policies, the health questions only go back 2 years, and they don't even consider health circumstances that many companies decline outright. I don't buy their leads, but I have managed to generate my own. If a client is healthy and looking for a large face amount term or UL, I've been running them through AGLA, as the rates and ABRs are a great selling point. However, there are a high percentage of "uninsurables" in my area of the country, and Lincoln Heritage fits in well many times.
