Appointment Setter Recommendations

Ok maybe I don't understand PPL correctly then.

If I buy 20 DM leads and sell $2000 AP, is that not 100 PPL?

That's right. Doesn't matter what you paid for those 20 leads. EFES always kept a rolling 90 days. So whatever production you did over those 90 days divided by how many leads you got over that 90 days was your PPL. Except they only gave you credit for 80% of the production.

Dude give it up.

Appt setters are a scam dude. Just like you...if they sit 4 out of 20 they deserve a steak dinner. None of these deadbeats want to schedule an appt on the phone. You are clueless. Answer me this, why is everyone on forum selling leads? Recruiting? Or failing with these so called ace appt setters??? Answer: fe only for the mentally unstoppable that can door knock or buy 40 plus leads a week and have bank accounts full of cash. Not to mention work in rural areas wheree you put 7-10k on car every month.. Have fun with you mental masturbation and enjoy your over rides given to you buy a free forum. # Classy!

For real, give it up. No real producer has ever experienced what you repeat day in and day out.

The qualifying noun in that sentence is PRODUCER.

Then I don't know what we're arguing about. It takes more leads to sell the same AP if you are using an appointment setter. That will lower your PPL.

I think what JD is saying, is if you're running the same amount appointments with an appointment setter then you're doing it out of laziness, the point of have an appointment setter is to run more appointments which in turn means you sell more application than if you didn't have the setter.

Yes you need more leads to get more appointments. But to go from working three days in the field to five days in the field, you not only need more leads you need an appointment setter to set the appointment for you. So at the end of the day you actually netted more money because you worked two extra days at least that's the way it's supposed to work.

Absolutely true, but you're missing the point.

On 20 DM leads I'll easily write 4k, with or without an appt setter. With 30 I'll write 5-7k, with an appt setter..so on a low week 5k my ppl is 167, down from 200(20 leads 4k). I'm ok with that because 167 is an absolute low...usually it's closer to 6k..voila back at 200...the appt setter makes it so I work 3 days, not 5.

For me, the appt setter does the job I don't want to do. If I was setting those 20 leads myself, I'd be working 5 days, 2 days setting and 3 field...with a setter I can make more and work less...ie. efficiency, quality of life etc...

If I couldn't do 160, really 200 PPL with a setter I'd rethink my business plan...and yes I'm in one of those terrible states.

And no, I'm not a unicorn, there's another heavy hitter in Atlanta doing the exact same number (actually better)...but we're not out here proclaiming to be a top agent or recruiting. ..that's the difference

Yup. .

Easy there big fella, I was just sharing my own personal experience!

Haha! Still, you were confusing cost per lead with production per lead. PPL is an efficiency measure. If you're not more efficient using an appointment setter then why use one?

Thad is saying lazy and I would agree if a person is seeing that they are less efficient and continue anyway. I know that you are not lazy so you must be misunderstanding the point.

I'm just going to say that I'm proud of everyone for not turning nasty....golf claps all around...lol. it's another miserable day in GA....so I'm having an insurance man's lunch.
