I learned it from a great site, SellTermLife.com â€", which has a great blog about selling term over the phone.

Install the plugin for free on gmail, it gives you a ton, I think 100 analytics, for your gmail to see who has opened it, when they did, if they clicked a link found inside.

Not bad for a gmail add on.

btw. I liked the tip the blog author recommends, get a site domain email and forward from gmail that way the appearance of the email is professional like your site domain, and the email is controlled and analyzed by gmail.

Also, if you use Salesforce, Cirrus Insight - Integrate Salesforce and Gmail | Create Leads, Contacts, Events, and Tasks in Salesforce from Gmail | is the top Gmail add-in to add email to your accounts, contacts, opportunities, etc.with no "bcc" hoops, and Salesforce also tracks your Gmail "opens". I haven't had any problems at all with this combo. YMMV. Hope this helps.

BTW, has anyone tried BOTH of these Gmail add-ins at the same time? Sounds intriguing, but I wouldn't want to "break" anything! I'm committed to Salesforce; hard to beat if you don't mind a little customization, but it also just works out of the box. I use Group Edition, all the features you need (the is a less expensive edition you can start with and move up if necessary).
