Well, in Illinois, I like Pizzeria Uno (the original, not the "close, but missed it" chain locations). Interesting note in Pizza history: Chicago deep dish pizza was invented by a Texan (Ike Sewell), who went into partnership with a local Chicago restaurateur (Ric Riccardo) to open Uno.Makes me think of Giordano's pizza... I love me some barbeque bacon pizza.
It's always worth the extra notch in the belt.
