BACON IS FOR CLOSERS...

Makes me think of Giordano's pizza... I love me some barbeque bacon pizza.

It's always worth the extra notch in the belt.
Well, in Illinois, I like Pizzeria Uno (the original, not the "close, but missed it" chain locations). Interesting note in Pizza history: Chicago deep dish pizza was invented by a Texan (Ike Sewell), who went into partnership with a local Chicago restaurateur (Ric Riccardo) to open Uno.

Deep dish pizza is def NOT Keto friendly.

I guess personal preference. Steve's or Dalessandro's for me.
I've heard that some locals like Steve's best. I don't remember hearing of the other before.

To be honest, I've never had any of them. I first learned about cheesesteaks when I lived in Virginia. According to Philly transplant friends, we had a couple good cheesesteak joints they recommended as authentic, and I enjoyed those a lot! But I remember an ongoing debate about Pat's vs Geno's from the same friends.

We have an upscale grocery store here in TX that makes cheesesteaks in their deli/food court. I actually really like them, but they're not the same.
